Priced at Rs 9.089 lakhs, this new bike is the top-of-the-line Bonneville and is indicative of Triumph’s new plans for the domestic Indian market. It sits above the Triumph Bonneville T12o and slightly lower than the Triumph Thruxton R. With this new motorcycle, the Bonneville range can be said to have well and truly been launched in India. The new Triumph Bonneville BobberThe new Triumph Bonneville Bobber has the superb and extremely powerful 1200 cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine which can belt out an outstanding 76 bhp @ 6100 rpm of peak power and 106 Nm @ 4000 rpm of peak torque. The new Bonneville Bobber also has a 6-speed gearbox and is expected to provide a class-leading mileage of 24kmpl. With a dry weight of 228 kg, the new Bonneville Bobber is also expected to have an extremely low centre of gravity, leading to a better and safer ride.The Bonneville Bobber takes inspiration from the classic ‘bob job’ motorcycles from America. These new motorcycles have an understated style and a rugged look. It also has low lines and a low stance and still has a strong and aggressive stance. The new bike also has a low single seat pan, with a stripped back design, as well as a flat and wide handlebar. To complete the ‘hardtail’ look, a concealed rear mono shock is present. The beauty of the details is astounding. An authentic battery box together with a stainless steel strap and a classic rear ‘drum brake’-inspired hub also portrays the new Bonneville Bobber as one of the most powerful and authentic superbikes around.Features abound on the new Bonneville Bobber as well. The new bike also has a lot of room for customization.Take the Vance & Hines silencers, or the ‘ape hanger’ high bars, both of which can be changed or modified according to the user’s desires.
