Although the tech concern has already sent out invites for the WWDC conference in June, there are huge chances that the Cupertino-based company will host another launch event much prior to that. Apple is looking to strengthen their market position in 2017 with four new iPad iterations. Latest reports by Japanese Tech website Mac Otakara, revealed that Apple is looking to expand its line of premium tablets by introducing more variants sporting different size and memory specifications. The report goes on to state that Apple is aiming to expand the iPad Pro lineup with four new models: The iPad Pro tablets are expected to be available in 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch display sizes, as rumoured in previously leaks. The analyst adds that Apple may announce a new 7.9-inch model, and claims that the 10.9-inch model will be ditched for a 10.5-inch making it the premium of the lot. However, the 7.9-inch model is basically being hailed as a replacement for the iPad mini 4. Although much details pertaining to any of the tablets have been really difficult to get hands on, an edge to edge display for the iPads have more or less been a highlight at that. Additionally, the iPad models are also expected to ship sometime later this year alongside the Apple Pencil which has been in works at Cupertino since quite a long time now. Other previous rumors stated that Apple is looking to introduce tablets with the new Pro moniker sporting the latest tech advancements. However, the same haven’t materialized yet as of now. Apart from the iPad models, the US tech giants are also gearing up introduce a 128GB storage version of the iPhone SE as well as a red colored variant of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
