Most of what we know about the new game can be attributed to the footages that have been released by the creators, though they had more to do with the story and characters to be featured than the actual gameplay. But according to the latest news surrounding Halo Wars 2, fans will be able to experience portions of the game first hand real soon. Developer 343 Industries is opening up a multiplayer beta testing for Halo Wars 2 during the coming week which will be playable for over a week. According to a report, the beta will be rolled out on January 20 and will be running till January 30. Halo Wars 2’s multiplayer will come with several challenging modes, and one of the talking points among these have been the Blitz mode, which has been described by the creators as a clever mix of card game elements and an RTS. During the beta, players will be able to play out the Blitz mode, where the objective is to occupy several zones on a map. The cards needed to play this mode in Halo Wars 2 will be available by playing the campaign. The cards can then be used to deploy units on the battlefield. The beta, however, will be multiplayer only, and will accommodate up to three players on each team. Besides this news, the system requirements for playing Halo Wars 2 on the PC have been revealed as well. The game is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere Campaign, which means you will be able to play the title across both your Windows 10 PC and Xbox One if you buy a digital copy of the game.
