In 2015 the luxury automaker Rolls-Royce had confirmed that it will work on an SUV of their own and is now it is set to release it and confirms that the SUV is being called Project Cullinan. Rolls-Royce is the most classic car of the world that comes both with class and panache. But SUV is something that was never part of their choice. But to survive the rat race or explore their versatility the brand has decide to go for it and now it is ready with the 2017 Rolls-Royce SUV.
The news immediately hit the market when the design chief Giles Taylor told Autocar that his design team had begun working with the sketches of a potential SUV. As Rolls-Royce has no history with SUVs, it will actually be interesting to see how it will actually look or work. This “over challenging terrain with absolute reliability and comfort” will be available in Australia, India, and other parts of the world.
2017 Rolls-Royce SUV Engine
This 2017 Rolls-Royce SUV will be equipped with a W12 engine capacity of 600-650 HP. This SUV could be powered by a number of twin-turbocharged engines from BMW’s parts bin, that includes BMW’s 4.4-liter V-8 or 6.0-liter V-12, or the Rolls-Royce Ghost’s 6.6-liter V-12, which is itself derived from BMW’s twelve-holer. Apart from this a plug-in-hybrid variant is also awaiting as per the news.
2017 Rolls-Royce Specifications
A Rolls-Royce is always very high in its classy style but at the same time the specifications are always something different from other. This will go for the 2017 Rolls-Royce SUV too. The sophisticated chassis is getting seven-seat BMW X7, of high-strength steels, aluminum and carbon. The same platform can allow for the following hypothetical 9 Series and Ghost.

The Rolls-Royce SUV’s closest relative will be the upcoming BMW X7. Bentley SUV, Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged.
This SUV can come to market in late 2017 or later and the prices will be starting at $250,000 or so.
