KTM India has confirmed it will launch new RC 390 and RC 200 on 19th of this month after the brochure was licked online. Both the 2017 KTM RC 390 and the 2017 KTM RC 200 were showcased at the Intermot 2016 in Germany, and since then the world is keeping an eye on its release date. So the drama regarding the release of the two most stunning looking bikes is finally in the list of the best releases of 2017. Though it was unveiled for the first time in 2015, this is the first major upgrade that the RC twins are getting.
2017 KTM RC 390, 2017 KTM RC 200 Specifications
The 2017 KTM RC 390 continues with its existing design but gets new graphics with a new fuel tank with bigger and sharper extensions, along with a black and white paint scheme and more emphasis on orange. The latest features will be track focused, offering a new side mounted exhaust can that replaces the underbelly unit like ride-by-wire tech, slipper clutch and a larger 320 mm front disc brake for improved stopping power. The RC 390 gets a 373.2cc single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine churning out 43.5 bhp and 36 Nm of torque; It gets a split LED headlamp along with LED indicators. It also gets bigger 320mm Brembo brakes.
While the RC 200 gets a 199 cc engine the RC 200 gets a 373.2cc single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that belts out 25 bhp and 19.2 Nm of torque and both get a 6-speed transmission. This bike gets a 300mm disc brake at the front, while a 230mm disc brake does duties at the rear.
