Homeland Season 6 Homeland Season 6 Release Date Homeland Season 6 will return on Showtime on January 15 at 9 p.m. on Showtime. The series is loosely based on an Israeli television series “Hatufim” developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa and created by Gideon Raff. Homeland Season 6 Cast This season will include the main cast from the previous season as well as some recurring cast. Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, now working at a foundation for Muslims mistreated by domestic law enforcement in New York, Rupert Friend as Peter Quinn, Elizabeth Marvel as Elizabeth Keane, a junior senator from New York, elected as the President of United States, Hill Harper as the White House Chief of Staff to President Keane, Patrick Sabongui as a CUNY School of Law professor and advocate to the Muslim-American community, F. Murray Abraham as Dar Adal, Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson, Robert Knepper as General Jamie McClendon, the Department of Defense representative briefing President Keane (Marvel) and her transition team and Dominic Fumusa as FBI Special Agent Ray Conlin. What to Expect From Homeland Season 6? In the video below, Danes reveal that she’s very excited to start shooting for the next season in the New York City. This time the former CIA agent will return to the US to save the first female President of the country. This season will is going to be very intense and will deal with the incredibly complex storyline. “It’s a really fascinating time, that transitional moment, and that president will heavily inform the character of the [CIA],” Danes added. Of course like the previous seasons, Mathison will try to figure out posts and save the day for everyone. And she’ll also be working at a foundation for Muslims mistreated by domestic law enforcement in New York in Homeland season 6.
