The creators of Deadman Wonderland got bankrupt.

Of course it would be a dream coming true,
like a melon without a shell or poop formed as a heart,
but it could only happen if someone claims the rights,
    to air a second season.

A second season of Deadman Wonderland is about as likely as a beautiful virgin woman coming up to your door offering to have sex with you, and she would be paying you to do so. Sure, it COULD happen, but it’s so unlikely you may as well watch a porn where it does. In that case, read the manga! Because that’s as close as you’re going to get.

I don’t think many people reading this realize it yet, so let me break it down: Deadman Wonderland was a complete failure in Japan, and very little people over there care about it. In order to get a second season, a show needs to be REALLY popular. One Punch Man and My Hero Academia were popular in Japan, so they can make another season. Not only is Deadman Wonderland irrelevant, but the tools that are needed to make it are locked up for good. Manglobe, maker of this and Samurai Champloo, closed last year for financial reasons. Deadman Wonderland flat out CAN’T have a second season. Maybe a remake, but good luck finding anyone willing to that in the next decade.

This writer acts like Deadman Wonderland is the first anime they’ve seen that’s rated TV-MA. Are you serious right now? And a 7.5 on IMDB is pitiful compared to the sheer amount of TV-MA anime. Hellsing Ultimate, Black Lagoon, Another, Tokyo Ghoul, Parasyte, even Future Diary has a higher score than that. And Deadman Wonderland isn’t even that good when you really think about it!

I refuse to believe there are any “insiders” that can tell you some producer in Japan thinks 12 more episodes of a bomb is bound to be successful. And if you’re wondering, Japan doesn’t care what we think AT ALL! It’s a hopeless dream I hope you all will just give up. Again, if you’re DYING to know what happens next, read the manga.
