MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has crossed Rs 130 crore after fourth weekend! With Rs 302.5 crore in its bag, Salman Khan’s Sultan is the best earning movie yet and it continues to be the highest grosser of the year. The Sushant Singh Rajput starrer has crossed Airlift with 130 Crores, where the lifetime collection record of Airlift stands at Rs 129 crore. The fourth highest grosser of 2016 is Rustom, with a lifetime collection of Rs 128 crore and Housefull 3 with Rs 109 crore is the fifth. Along with Sushant, the film M.S. Neeraj Pandey is one of those directors who have been different when it comes to movie making. His directorials have already broken several records and some of them are A Wednesday!, Special 26, Baby, Rustom etc, but MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is best of his works yet. Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios told PTI “This is overwhelming love for Dhoni and the film, we are grateful to the fans and audiences for this” Now this movie has one more week to make money before Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil take over the attention from October 28. Till now the movie did not face any big challenge as none of a big movie has released since MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. So next week onwards there will be a tussle for MS Dhoni: The Untold Story box office collection. The film is expected to make another Rs 2-2.5 crore before the big movies release. It will be interesting to watch whether the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story total collection will increase or cease to make any further business!
