The news is that Apple will be using OLED screens in their iPhone from 2017 onward. Although iPhone 7 is yet to release, people are already waiting for iPhone 8 which is rumoured to come with many changes and improvement. According to the publication, the glass back will be supplied by Biel Crystal Manufactory and Lens Technology from China. Although other key iPhone assembler Hon Hai Precision Industry, also known as Foxconn Technology Group, and its subsidiaries have been working to develop glass backs but it’s unlikely that they‘ll secure the order. The front and the back glass will be held together with a metal. As of now, we don’t know anything regarding the material but the publication claims that the material will likely be aluminium or stainless steel. The glass back will make wireless charging easier. Apart from this, there’s new rumour that suggests that iPhone 8 come in three sizes, 4.7″, 5.5″, and 5”.Original story: iPhones use traditional LDC screens which are becoming outdated these days. The display panels work well, but the screen doesn’t facilitate viewing outdoor which requires users to tune up their brightness. It eats up battery faster. Apple will be able to manufacture iPhone 8 and get the OLED screens installed.Forbes report, the ‘dark mode’ theme will appear on iPhone 7 and is expected to appear in the iPhone 8 too. The dark mode theme is going to be even more popular with the latter because it’ll come with OLED screen. When the screen is black for the most part and will remain turned off, less power will be consumed.
