It is also true to its name that Akshay got the nick-name of Khiladi Kumar due to the Director duo henceforth releasing Khiladi (1992), Ajnabee (2001) and Aitraaz (2004) which happened to be blockbusters of the respective years. Although, the film in untitled and under wraps, Akshay Kumar’s and Abbas-Mastan’s next project is going through some serious work procedures.

As of now, Abbas-Mastan is all set to release their next film ‘Machine’ where Abbas’s Son Mustafa will mark his Bollywood debut as an actor. The Hindi language film Machine is a romantic-thriller which happens to be the debut project of Kiara Advani too, as a lead actress.  When queried regarding the teaming up of actor and director, they reverted as “We are working on something. We did three films together, and all were different from each other. We plan to work together.” (as stated to TOI).

The Director duo was seen quoting as that a good film always takes time as it made with compassion and fervours, therefore, the untitled project will be given a lot of time, attention, and of course diligence. Currently, the project is in its pre-production stage and trying on with good plans for an appropriate launch date (muhurat). Also, the filmmakers  Abbas-Mastan plans to launch the film as well as Akshay Kumar in a grand way as working with him after so many years is a treat.
