The device is going to launch alongside Mi Air Purifier. Mi Band 2 is the successor to the immensely popular Mi Band that was priced at Rs. 999. The original Mi Band doesn’t include many of the features that the new Xiaomi Mi band 2. Mi Band 2 Specs: Display: 0.42” OLED Battery: 70 mAh, Standby Time- 20 days Sensors: Accelerometer, photoelectric heart rate sensor Weight: 7g Connectivity: Android 5.0+, Bluetooth 4.0 Made of: Hypoallergenic- Thermoplastic elastomer, aluminum alloy Mi Band 2 Features: A couple of days back, Mi band 2 was unveiled. Here are the features of the wearable we are looking forward to: Dust & Water Resistance Improved Algorithm Idle Alerts Sleep Tracker Incoming Call and Message Alerts Great Battery Life Speaking of the design, the Mi Band 2 is slightly bigger and thicker than the original. But the device still looks elegant and intact. The front is made of scratch-proof and fingerprint proof glass. The touch-sensitive key is made of anodized 0.05mm metal piece. The display is small only 0.42″ OLED display is that of the monochrome variety. The display shows time, total distance, step count, heart rate, burnt calories, incoming notifications and battery percentages. Users can measure your heart rate by cycling to the appropriate pane, or, if disabled, you can use the Mi Fit app to fire the heart rate sensor. The device shows notifications of Mi Fit, Mi Talk, WeChat, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Whatsapp. SMS, Email, and Goal notifications are also available, from the Band Notifications menu. According to GSMarena, The 30-day battery achievement included per day: about 50-time checks, 8-10 heart rate checks, 5 cycles through all the panes, and two synchronisations with the Mi Fit app. The device comes in a number of colour options.
