Founded in 2014, Urban Engine was established by Shiva Shivakumar, Deepak Merugu, Giao Nguyen and Balaji Prabhakar. Previously served as the Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Principal Engineer in Google, Shivakumar and Nguyen felt as homecoming after a long span of time.
