Only SX variant of the Creta of Hyundai has the automatic transmission and is now available for booking across the country. Creta S+ diesel is the 2016 Indian Car of the Year in an automatic diesel variant. The current price of the car is Rs. 13.56 lakh, which is almost Rs. 1.06 lakh the higher than its automatic spec variant. The Creta S+ gets power from a 1.6 litre four cylinder U2 VGT CRDi DOHC diesel engine, that can produce 126bhp power at 4000 rpm and 256Nm of pick torque at 1900 rpm. The power of the car is sent to the front wheels via six-speed AT. As compared to the SX model this car misses features like the cruise control, touchscreen system, leather seats and voice controlled navigation package. But on the contrary projector lamps, LED daytime running lights, hexagonal chrome garnished front grille with horizontal slats are some of the other best features of Creta diesel+. The car also has alloy wheels, sporty roof rails, large wrap around tail lamps, roof spoiler etc. If that was not sufficient, the feature of the car that gives the car its control is the sans the cruise control. If that was not enough the touchscreen infotainment system, leather wrapped seats and voice control navigation system. Hyundai’s one of the most famous model Creta disel+ had crossed 1 lakh bookings within eight months of its entry into the market. Though the price of the car is a bit too high than the range of the middle-class buyers and that apparently means this car is not intended for the mass consumers. The car will be available in a list of colours like Mystic Blue, Phantom Black, Stardust, Sleek Silver, Pearl Beige, Red Passion and Polar White.
