It’s worth noting that the company is all geared to launch 4G services in India this year. The LYF Wind features a Digital DTS Surround technology, a 5-inch LCD. The device is a dual SIM phone that comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. Speaking of the camera, the phone sports 8 MP rear camera with high-definition voice calling over (VoLTE) Voice Over Long Term Evolution facility and a 2MP front camera. A powerful 4,000mAH battery completes the package. The 4G telecom operator Reliance Jio has only recently opened up its services for general public and that too on a trial basis. Nut interested folks will be able to buy its SIM only after getting an invitation from employees of Reliance Industries group firms. Check out: Coolpad Max Launched at Rs 24,999 The LYF smartphones are a venture by Jim, who tied up with domestic handset maker Intex with a view of supplying 4G handsets enabled with voice over LTE (VoLTE) feature, back in 2015. This year (2016), they launched a series of LYF smartphones namely Water 1, Water 2, Earth 1 and Flame 1. At present, the LYF handsets are available in the price range of Rs 5,599 to Rs 19,499. Brokerage firm CLSA had recently said Reliance Retails LYF smartphone could become a USD 1 billion brand in 2016-17 and corner a market share of about 7 percent.
