Just ahead of the 2017 State Assembly Elections of Uttar Pradesh. According to the sources, this time, Amar Singh and Beni Prasad Verma are going to be the Rajya Sabha candidate from Samajwadi Party. Ahead of the elections, this step is regarded as an important step for the Samajwadi Party. There have been seven nominations from the Samajwadi Party for the Rajya Sabha. The rest of the names in the list include Sanjay Seth, Sukhram Singh Yadav, Khetiraman Singh, Vishambhar Prasad Nishaad and Arwind Pratap Singh.
