Just before the state’s legislative assembly election in the year 2017, such a change came up as a huge responsibility on the new in charge. Before an election any change in a party might have both the negative and the positive impacts. The rest of the parties opposing this one are right now looking forward to the changes in the policies. The biggest fact to be looked forward is the list of candidates contesting the election. So right now the matter of the concern is more on the part of the workers of the party itself. From being spokesperson to a state in charge incurs a lot more responsibilities. The change was made through a letter heading to Shivpal Yadav, state president Akhilesh Yadav and SP national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav respectively. It seems that Mulayam Singh Yadav is getting all set for the elections to be held next year. Having a good hold over the party workers he was appointed as the head of the local bodies elections in UP. The party won with a prevailing influence on the public minds. Since the last year he has been playing an important role within the party since the last year. Last year he was appointed as Mulayam’s pointsman when SP was preparing to lead a grand alliance before the 2015 assembly elections in Bihar. Though the alliance did not work out, the status of the new incharge can be gauged from the changes made.
