Now we know that the company was indeed working on a C series range of smartphones. So far there was only whispers but now, we have some specifications and a date set for launch in May. The devices first appeared in Geekbench and according to reports Samsung’s C series smartphones will have metal bodies and will be available exclusively in China, at least initially. But we are hoping that since the devices are tested in India, the handsets may be launched soon after. SM-C5000 has already appeared before on a previous import listing and now the device is accompanied by another model SM-C7000. But there is no details about the latter. The range is of budget to mid-range smartphones. The listed price of these models will convert to Rs 13,500 ( without duties and taxes). The device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow that come coupled with 4GB of RAM. Lately the Samsung Galaxy C7 SM-C7000 was listed on AnTuTu benchmark. From this we’ve come to know of a couple of features like the device will feature a Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. It’ll run in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 64-bit processor that comes with Adreno 506 GPU. SM-C7000 will have 4 GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. As for the battery, we have no information on that.
